The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the armed attack at the entrance of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran, which resulted in the death of one person.

Kanaani said: The results of the preliminary investigations by the relevant authorities and institutions indicate personal motives behind this action, therefore, due to the immediate reaction of the relevant law enforcement, security and judicial institutions and institutions, it is recommended that the media refrain from publishing unreliable news and speculations.
 
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that more detailed information in this regard will be published after the investigation process is completed.

According to the head of Tehran's Criminal Affairs Prosecutor's Office, preliminary investigations show that this person attacked the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran with personal motivation.
 
In the initial investigation, the accused has claimed: In April this year, my wife went to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran and did not return home.
 
He expressed his motivation to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the following way that “I did not receive any response from them during my repeated visits to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran and I thought that my wife was present at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran and was not willing to meet me. This morning I decided to go to the embassy with the Kalashnikov rifle that I had already prepared.”
 
A judiciary official Judge Shahriari said: In the initial investigation, the attacker claimed that his motive for attacking the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran was completely personal.
