Secretary of Ali Asqar World Forum called on the media and elites to convey the message of Shia and Imam Hussein (AS) by promoting Ashura and the Battle of Karbala.

Davood Manafi, attending the international conference on Shia Minbars (pulpit) in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad on Wednesday morning called on the Shia elites, journalists and media activist to promote the message of Shia and the third Shia Imam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to two decades of activities by Ali Asqar (AS) World Forum which has turned the eulogies read for the youngest martyr of Karbala turned into a symbol among the Shia Muslims.
 
He stressed the key role of Karbala and Ahlul Bayt (AS) in Shia Islam.
 
A researcher on history of Shia Islam, he detailed his recent study on the robe wore by the third Shia Imam on the day of Karbala.
 
More than 850 researchers, preachers, religious groups, artists and authors especially working on Ashura, Battle of Karbala and Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) attended the international conference held at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
 
Imam Hussein (AS) was the third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) who was martyred together with 72 of his companions and family members in the Battle of Karbala back in 680 AD.
