The Political Bureau of Ansarullah of Yemen condemned on Saturday in the strongest phrases, the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in Sweden and called the move a sign of Western governments' political bankruptcy.

The statement blamed the Swedish government for the despicable and irresponsible act of a demonstration it had allowed.


The statement pointed out that the repeated acts of hostility witnessed by the West against Islamic sanctities reflect the moral and political bankruptcy of western governments, and their failure to manage the affairs of their countries.

The statement added that this does not justify it to demonize Muslims in the countries of the world to divert public opinion from the structural problems it suffers from.

Ansarullah's political bureau noted that all Muslims are interested in resolutely responding to hostile acts against their holy sanctities.
