Parl. Speaker says Europe should separate its path from opponents if needs agreement

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Parliament, while reading the statement of the parliament condemning the action of the European Parliament in blacklisting the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps(IRGC) as a terrorist group, said: "Europe should not allow the media that are against Iran to operate freely in their capitals."

Further, he said: "Once again, the Iranian parliament will respond immediately and decisively to any action that means placing the IRGC on the terrorist and sanctions list. We will identify the armies of the European countries in the region as terrorist groups and organizations and take the necessary measures to deal with them. We are ready to answer, but we ask the Westerners to think carefully so that the window of opportunity for diplomacy is not closed."

Ghalibaf added: "On the one hand, they cannot claim that the negotiation window is open, and on the other hand, confront a part of Iran's political and identity structure, and the people of Iran know that such a negotiation is the end of nothing but the looting of economic and political interests and the weakening of our national honor. They will never succumb in such a process, the result of which is a defeat in advance."
"If Europe needs an agreement, should separate its way from the opponents of the agreement."
"I really hope that Europe can free itself from the indoctrination of child-killing Zionist regime and adopt a wiser policy, otherwise, Europe will be the weakest side among the western countries that confront the IRGC and the resistance in the region and will, of course, pay for it in full."
