“All Muslims make parts of same civilization, ummah”, Iranian cleric

Deputy of international affairs at bureau of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei called Muslims as parts of the same civilization and members of one ummah (nation).

Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, in a meeting with the delegation of Sunni clerics from Bangladesh, stressed maintaining friendly relations with neighbors, Islamic countries among priorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Geographical borders cannot distance hearts of the world Muslims as they are all members o the same civilization, the Islamic nation established by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”
 
Top cleric hailed the relations between Iranian and Bangladeshi people as “historical” which has unfortunately faded at present and noted,” Bangladesh, as a great Islamic country, stands special for the world of Islam particularly for the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
 
Ayatollah Qomi highlighted the important mission upon Bangladeshi Muslim clerics and added,” Further promotion of Islam depends upon you and your students.”
 
Senior cleric also explained the Qur’anic activities developed in Iran in a number of centers including a television and a radio channel, faculty of Qur’anic studies and 12 new fields of study focusing on different aspects of the holy book of Islam.
 
Ayatollah Qomi stressed that the scientific achievements of Iran will benefit all oppressed nations warning that the anti-Iran propaganda mean to illustrate the country as desperate.
 
Top cleric also warned of the propaganda against Iran followed in three levels: micro which regards issues within the country, macro which includes issues with the Islamic Republic and also civilization when the enemies pursue domination of western civilization on Iran.
 
Maulana Sheikh Mohammad Uthman Ghani, deputy of the national council of authors in Bangladesh also stressed importance of boosting solidarity among Muslims and said the objective will soon materialize if clerics from both countries maintain their relations.
 
Invited by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, delegation of Sunni clerics from Bangladesh has visited religious, educational and cultural centers in Iran.
