Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought praised regional conferences for providing the grounds to hear different viewpoints and boosting unity among various ideologies.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a meeting with head of association of Iraqi Sunni scholars on Sunday stressing the role of regional conferences as an opportunity to boost solidarity among people with different viewpoints, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Prominent Sunni scholar announced preparation of Iraqi institutes for cooperation with Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
 
Heading a delegation of deputies at major deputies from World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari visited religious and cultural figures.
 
Participated by more than 400 Shia and Sunni scholars from Iran and Iraq, the first regional Islamic unity conference was held in Iran’s Kurdistan province in July 2022.
