Senior cleric: US looking for making rift in Islamic world with extremist Islamists' collaboration

The Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Hojjat ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari says the US was trying to create a rift in the Islamic world with the extremist Islamists' collaboration in Syria, but the cooperation between Iran and Russia halt the growth of extremist thinking in Syria and the Islamic world.

The senior cleric highlighted the promotion of liberal American culture as the biggest threat and pointed out: "They are trying to impose their culture on other countries, although this culture has the appearance of freedom, but it seeks to eliminate the thought that is contrary to that culture."
Hojjat-ul-Islam Shahriari stated that in this sensitive situation we have duties to overcome this historical challenge and added: "The US seeks to create a rift in our mutual cooperation with the economic blockade".

The university professor said: "The US was trying to create a divide in the Islamic world with the extremist Islamists' collaboration in Syria, but the cooperation between Iran and Russia stopped the growth of extremist thinking in Syria and the Islamic world".
He pointed out that after the success of Iran and Russia in defeating the western-cooked ISIS' Islam, they have started a new task against us, and added: "The US seeks to sow rift in the Islamic unity of Muslims".
