Iran, Finland eyeing on boosting ties

In a telephone call, the Iranian and Finnish Foreign Ministers exchanged views regarding the issues of interests, recent developments in Iran, and Afghan immigrants.

 Amir-Abdollahian also explained the status quo of talks for lifting sanctions on Iran for Finnish FM.  
Pekka Haavisto, for his part, reiterated Finland's support for the revival of the Iranian international nuclear agreement or the se-called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). 
He appreciated Iran for hosting the Afghan refugees for four decades and said that his country was ready to cooperate Iran in helping the refugees.  
The foreign ministers of Iran and Finland emphasized on strengthening bilateral relations by giving the ninety years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
