Iran to take effective counter-measures against BoG's unconstructive move

Amir-Abdollahian further noted: "They had a constructive meeting with Rafael Grossi, the director-general of the IAEA, but in order to influence the domestic environment and exert maximum pressure, and in continuation of the extremely hypocritical policy of the United States in these days, they put a resolution against the Islamic Republic of Iran on the table and once again abused the Agency politically."

"We will take effective countermeasures and adhere to our international laws and will continue to do so," Amir- Abdollahian noted.

Referring to recent terrorist incidents in Iran, the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized: "In the past days and weeks, the enemies of Iran have tried to affect the internal situation and internal environment of Iran by abusing the pure feelings of the Iranian people with repeated interventions."

Amir-Abdollahian stated: "These actions have progressed to the point where the terrorist attacks in Shiraz and Izeh led to the martyrdom and injury of a group of our dear compatriots, and we strongly condemn these incidents while offering our condolences to the people of Iran and the families of these dear ones, and consider it in line with the continuation of the maximum pressure of the United States and three European countries against the Iranian people."

Emphasizing the cessation of the war in Yemen and the complete cancellation of the humanitarian blockade, the Iranian FM said: "Yemeni people are still going through miserable conditions. We believe that stopping the war, ceasefire and lifting the human blockade are two sides of the same coin."

He said: "We have seen that the temporary ceasefire in Yemen was not extended in the past weeks, and we hope that action will be taken as soon as possible to continue the ceasefire and completely remove the human blockade, and the people of Yemen will get out of the difficult situation they are in. The resistance of the Yemeni people in the past years against foreign employment is commendable."
