Clashes erupt after settlers vandalize Palestinian vehicles in Salfit
Violent clashes have broke out after a group of Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles in Haris town, west of Salfit, late on Tuesday evening.

Eyewitnesses reported that the settlers gathered at the western entrance of the village under Israeli army protection and started stoning the passing cars as a result of which several vehicles were damaged.
Violent clashes broke out following the incident, amid heavy use of tear-gas bombs and rubber bullets by Israeli troops.
Meanwhile, Haris residents took to the streets in protest against the Israeli military restrictions and collective punishment measures imposed on the town.
Along the same line, the Israeli forces closed the northern entrance to Bruqin town, west of Salfit, after a group of settlers gathered near the town and threatened to launch mass attacks against Palestinians and their property in the area.
