Tehran calls for implementing Iran-Venezuelan agreements
The Iranian foreign minister referred to the agreements reached during a visit by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Tehran.
He called Maduro’s visit an important stage in ties between the two countries and underlined the importance of implementing the agreements that President Maduro and President Raisi reached to enhance cooperation.
The new Venezuelan envoy, who submitted his credentials to Iran’s foreign minister, stated that he would do his best during his mission to help promote Tehran-Caracas relations.
President Maduro had appointed Jose Rafael Silva Aponteas as the new ambassador to Tehran in July.
During Maduro’s visit to Tehran, the two sides inked a document on 20-year cooperation in different fields, including politics, economy and culture, and oil and petrochemical industries.
