Iran to file lawsuit against US for direct intervention in recent riots, senior official says

Deputy chief of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights has said that a law suit will be filed in the Tehran Court of Justice against the United States for direct role in the recent riots.

Referring to the destructive role of Iran International and BBC Persian Televisions ls in directing and provoking riots, destroying public and private property and equipment, terrorist acts and providing training on how to create chaos, the Iranian official said: "These Television networks and their journalists should be added to the list of terrorist groups and individuals. On the other hand, documentary cases about the actions of these networks are being compiled and judicial actions will be pursued against them in domestic and foreign courts soon."
Gharibabadi added: "In the meantime, the role of the countries that host and support these networks, namely UK and Saudi Arabia, will not investigated by the relevant bodies."
Deputy chief of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs also pointed to the attacks against Iranian diplomatic places and persons in some countries and said: "All diplomatic missions and diplomats are immune to any aggression, assault and damage, and the host country has a special duty to take all measures. It is necessary to prevent invasion and damage to diplomatic missions and diplomats."
Gharibabadi called on the countries where Iranian diplomatic missions and diplomats have been attacked in their territory, to fulfill their international obligations in promoting protection and guaranteeing non-repetition of these events and compensation of material and moral losses, to hold the perpetrators and those in charge of these incidents and prosecute them, otherwise according to the 1973 convention, they should be extradited to Iran for trial.
