Molave Mohammad Amin Roodini, Iranian professor in Iranshahr, said: unity and gathering around Islam by followers of all Islamic schools of thought is one the pressing needs of the Islamic societies.”

Iranian professor referred to Ummah as a movement a group to a single road and said: “Ummah brought people with different languages even those who were enemies with each other, under a single entity” reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“Islam is a religion that considers a peaceful life for its followers as one of the inalienable principles and this can be seen in the conduct of the Holy Prophet as well as His pure companions” he added.
 
Pointing out that if our enemies do not heed words and principles of Islam, then we will have Jihad, he noted “Life of the Holy Prophet and His companions is serving as good example for us.”
 
“We shall have exchange religious views between our scholars and religious leaders; because lack of knowledge of each other's schools will lead to fanatism and extremism that brings lots of problems” Doctor Roodini continued.
 
He concluded that “Religious leaders should respect each other’s beliefs and avoid insulting sanctities of each other. They shall have sufficient knowledge of the Holy Quran and Islamic traditions and do all they can in favor of promoting strength of Muslims throughout the world.”
 
36th International Islamic Unity Conference is held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the Islamic World” on October 10-15, 2022 as prominent Shia and Sunni scholars discuss the issues of Muslim world in online and in presence meetings held in the capital Tehran.
