Palestinian PM condemns Israeli conduct in occupied territories as “organized state terrorism”

Palestinian prime minister has denounced Tel Aviv regime brutality towards Palestinians in the occupied lands calling on the international community to end neutral stance in regards to the “organized state terrorism” by Israeli regime.

Mohammad Shtayyeh made the remarks on Monday after Palestine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates censured the brutal killing of dozens of kids and minors by the occupying Israeli regime since the start of the year.

“What is happening on the ground is organized state terrorism," which the Israeli regime "is solely responsible for," Shtayyeh said during a cabinet meeting in the city of Ramallah in the Tel Aviv-occupied West Bank, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.

"The world should not remain silent regarding the crimes that the occupation soldiers commit in the cities, villages, and refugee camps that claim the lives of children and youths as part of a systematic policy based on killing for the sake of killing, whose pace increases with the approach of the Israeli elections," he noted.

The Palestinian premier called the international mum on the Israeli atrocities "an encouragement to the occupation,” adding that “statements of condemnation or concern are not enough to stop these crimes as mothers and fathers lose their loved ones whose corpses are held in a way unprecedented in history, while raids, settler terrorism, and attacks against people and their property continue and their holy places are desecrated.”

So far this year, more than 100 Palestinians have been shot dead by the Israeli military, in what the United Nations has described as "mounting violence" across the occupied territories.

The latest of the fatalities was caused only hours earlier, when 12-year-old Mahmoud Mohammad Samoudi succumbed to injuries he had sustained nearly a fortnight ago during an Israeli raid on the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Just a day earlier, Israeli forces had fatally shot two Palestinian teenagers during a similar raid on Jenin. The Palestinian Authority's health ministry has identified the victims as Ahmad Daraghmeh, 16, and Mahmud as-Sous, 18.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Palestinian prime minister said the Palestinians were facing an all-out war with no let-up, which the Zionist regime and its illegal settlers were waging against them.

A fitting response, he added, would be for the international community to criminalize the occupying regime's attacks, holding the apartheid regime accountable for its crimes, and putting settler gangs on terrorist lists.
