Iran, Bolivia eyeing on boosting ties

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran said in the meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bolivia and the accompanying delegation that the development of cooperation with La Paz is a concern of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In this meeting, Amir- Abdollahian pointed out the importance of relations between Iran and South America and stated that the development of cooperation with Bolivia is of interest and concern of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran also announced the readiness of the private sector of Iran to develop economic relations with Bolivia, implement infrastructure projects in this country, export technical and engineering services to Bolivia, and increase bilateral trade in areas of interest, including agriculture.
 
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, in this meeting, while considering this trip as useful in getting acquainted with the high capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized the need for cooperation and solidarity between the two countries to strengthen multilateralism and strengthen international peace and security.
 
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia also described Iran's capabilities and capacities in the fields of industry, science, technology and medicine as impressive and considered the holding of the joint economic commission of the two countries as an important opportunity in the development of relations between the two countries.
