36th International Islamic Unity Conference has called for papers announcing the title for the upcoming event and also topic for papers to the conference to be held in mid-October.

Following is the full text of the announcement by secretariat of the 36th Islamic Unity Conference on subjects for each section of the conference titled “Islamic unity, peace and avoiding division and conflict in the Islamic world.”
Executive solutions and operational measures
1- Just War and Just peace
Defining just peace and just war and examining the principles and characteristics of each of them
The differences and similarities between war, and the Islamic Jihad from the perspective of Islamic denominations
Strategies and solutions for just peace and prevention of war between Islamic countries from the perspective of the
Qur’an and Sunnah with emphasis on principles such as rationality, the purposes of Sharia and expediency
Contemporary international experiences of the mechanisms and drivers of lasting peace and a world without war
Explaining the role of colonialism and global arrogance in contemporary wars in Islamic countries and ways to deal
with it
Political, social, cultural and economic factors of the current wars in Islamic lands, the consequences of these wars
and ways to end them
Jurisprudential and ethical study of the using weapons of mass destruction and nuclear weapons
Rights and duties of civilians and fighters in war from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence, law and ethics

Moral teachings and jurisprudential rules of Islam about controversy and its relationship with the activities of the
media in the Islamic world
Using the capacity of the media and cyberspace to promote coexistence based on Islamic customs, free thinking,
culture of tolerance and open-mindedness and to prevent insults and offences
Mechanisms of cooperation between Islamic countries to prevent and counter insulting programs in divisive and
degrading media and channels
The principles and teachings of respect for Muslims and non-Muslims and the prohibition of offences, and insults to
