Spirit of bravery of Palestinian, Yemeni youth continuation of path of Islamic Revolution

Speaking in a meeting with a group of martyrs' families on Sunday, Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi condoled the days of mourning for Imam Hussein (AS) and condemned the crimes committed by the Zionists against the people of Gaza, saying, "This awakening of the people and young generation in the region is fruit of the martyrs' blood. The Zionists assassinate the defenseless people of Gaza and members of the Islamic Jihad, and the Islamic Jihad also responds to them".
Recalling the numerous crimes committed by the Zionists against the people of Gaza, the President stressed, "Compare the people of Palestine today with their past. In the past, the Palestinian people looked at tables like Camp David, Sharm el-Sheikh, and the Oslo Peace Accords, but today they are fighting against the oppression of the Zionists, and the Palestinian youth have the initiative. This spirit of resistance is the fruit of the blood of the martyrs of the Imposed War and Shrine Defenders".
Ayatollah Raisi also expressed his satisfaction with meeting the families of the martyrs and said, "There is nothing more pleasant for me than spending time with the families of the martyrs because you are a part of the Islamic Revolution and you sacrificed your loved ones so that this Revolution can become more powerful not only to build a prosperous Iran, but to realize the new Islamic civilization".
Honoring Tasu'a, the President reviewed the historical events of this day and referring to the two events "the siege of the army of Imam Hussein (AS)" and "the rejection of the safe conduct by Abolfazl al-Abbas", he said, "Following the Guardian and H.H. Abbas (AS), standing up, saying no to the enemy, resisting and giving hope to the nation was in the conduct of all the martyrs, including the martyrs of the Sacred Defense and the Shrine Defenders".
Ayatollah Raisi continued describing the fierce battle of the Shrine Defender martyrs with the terrorist currents in the region and called it an example of sacrifice to the culture of Ashura, and clarified, "These martyrs really fought off the evil of the enemy by standing up and did not allow ISIS to encroach on the dignity of the people. By destroying this terrorist current, they brought security not only for our country, but for the region".
The President also referred to the role played by the Shrine Defenders in establishing the security of the great Arba'een ceremony and said, "There is no ceremony on earth as glorious as Imam Hussein's (AS) Arba'een".
