Seyyed Ammar Hakim, in his sermon at Eid al-Adha prayer, stressed that the regional challenges are not confined to a certain country and that critical situation in one Islamic state will eventually spread to other countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” All Islamic countries share the same fate and our experience shows that if a certain country is harassed with political, security and economic crisis then all other countries will be in danger and will pay the toll for that.”

Senior Iraqi cleric added,” The world is a small village where the crisis is never limited to a certain region; therefore, to launch regional coalitions will bring imbalance and lead the region towards collapse.”

He noted that such coalitions will eliminate constructive opportunities for alleviation of regional crisis.

Ayatollah Hakim referred to the key role of Iraq in regional stability and said,” Iraq can play essential role among regional Islamic countries.

“There are indications for establishment of global systems based on economic superiority, establishment of regional unions and also new international polarizations which translates to further economic and security challenges in near future.

Ayatollah Hakim urged the OIC and Arab League to confront effort for formation of one-sided regional coalitions.
