Ankara not to support anti-Iran sanctions, Turkish FM says
"We do not support anti-Iranian sanctions and we do not consider it correct," the Turkish foreign minister was quoted as saying by Iran press.

Referring to the talks on lifting the sanctions, he added: "We hope that the nuclear agreement will be implemented."

He continued: "We intend to make more efforts to increase our trade with Iran."

"In addition, we will continue to work together to ensure the protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine," said Çavuşoğlu.

According to Iran press, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart on Monday that he had clearly expressed Iran's sensitivities and considerations about the Zionists and the regime's movements during a meeting with Çavuşoğlu.
He went on to stress that reaching an agreement in a new round of talks on lifting sanctions will depend on the realistic view point of the United States and the three European countries.

Earlier in the day, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell announced the resumption of nuclear talks with Iran, saying that a new round of talks would be held not in Vienna but in a regional country, specifically the PGCC (the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council) member state namely Qatar.
