Friday prayer leader of al-Haram Mosque denounced desecration of prophets as a “crime” and called for punishment of the perpetrators based on the law of God and prophet’s ordinance.

Abdullah Al Juhany, prayer leader of al-Haram Mosque in his weekly Friday sermon called the world countries and international organizations to condemn desecration of prophets, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He stressed,” Disrespecting prophets is a crime and Muslims should denounce the sacrilegious moves based on the law of God Almighty and traditions of Prophets.”
 
The cleric noted that desecration of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) inflicts no harm to Islam and added,” God Almighty has elevated the name of his prophet and downgraded those desecrators.”
Prayer leader of al-Haram Mosque also stressed,” The best support for Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is to explain his virtues, lifestyle and also the values and teachings of Islam.”
 
The remarks by Saudi prayer leader comes amid continued protests following desecration of Propeht Mohammad (PBUH) by two Indian BJP members.
 
Muslim countries have slammed the sacrilegious comments by the two and also the violation of Indian government against Muslim minority in the country.
