“Over 3,100 children killed during Saudi invasion on Yemen”, rights group

Yemeni rights group announced 3,182 Yemeni children have lost their lives during eight years of Saudi atrocities against the impoverished Arab country.

Yemeni Coalition to Monitor Human Rights Violations also known as Rasad Coalition has announced the number of Yemeni children who have been killed across 20 provinces during eight years of Saudi-coalition attacks against Yemen, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The number includes 2795 boys and 387 girls killed amid Saudi attacks against 20 Yemeni provinces.
 
According to survey conducted by another Yemeni organization Intisaf, 2,412 Yemeni women have also been killed during the attacks.
 
The report also said that 2,825 Yemeni children have been injured and have no access to medical facilities due to continued Saudi atrocities.
 
Warning against contingent diseases and increasing malnutrition among Yemeni women, particularly pregnant women, the organization noted that 8,000 Yemeni women also die due to Saudi-imposed siege of the impoverished Arab country..
 
The Organization of World Peace in its latest report announced that 17.4 million Yemeni civilians are suffering food shortage and 1.6 million others are expected to be added to the number.
 
The report also said that Yemen’s economy has shrunk by 50 percent since 2015 and the country is among the world’s poorest countries and 80 percent of the people in Yemen are living below poverty line.
