Pres. Raisi says COVID zero death toll achieved by domestic capacities
That the COVID daily death toll reached zero in Iran, amid the west's sanctions, was a success achieved through reliance upon domestic capabilities, the Iranian President said.

In a message on Thursday, Ebrahim Raisi said the success was achieved at a time some advocates of human rights banned the import of medical items vital for the treatment of COVID-19.
He noted that Iran was acknowledged by the World Health Organization to be among the top countries in the prevention and treatment of coronavirus disease.
Iran's Health Minister Bahram Einollahi said in a tweet on Thursday: "After 27 months of the strong Iranian nations' fight against the coronavirus and while Europe and the US are reporting high casualties, Iran experienced its first day without corona death case."
So far, more than 534 million people have been infected with the coronavirus across the world out of whom 6,317,000 have lost their lives
