Hamas: Many options available to counter Zionist flag march

Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) underlined on Saturday night that the resistance had many options to counter the Zionist flag march.
Hamas: Many options available to counter Zionist flag march

Zionist officials recently announced that this year they will allow the flag march to the settlers in the Bab al-Amoud neighborhood and the old part of occupied al-Quds on the 29th of this month.

On the other hand, the Palestinian resistance groups, while announcing a public mobilization, warned the Zionist regime against any stupidity and entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque through a flag march, emphasizing that this march is a barrel of gunpowder and will ignite the region.

"All options are on the table and we are ready for any scenario," Haniyeh said in response to the Zionist flag march, which is scheduled for Sunday.

Khaled Mashaal, the leader of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) abroad, also said outside Syria on Saturday night, referring to the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionists: "Any relations with the Zionist regime must be cut off."

Khaled Mashaal stressed that the Zionists are seeking to seize the Al-Aqsa Mosque by abusing their preoccupation with the region, US support, and the normalization of relations between some countries.

Mashaal added: "The Zionists are trying to raise their flag to say that Al-Aqsa Mosque is under their political and religious rule."

He added: "Hamas' position is clear and Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque belong to us and we will not allow anyone to be our partner in this matter."

Emphasizing that any relationship with the Zionist regime should be severed, Mashaal said that the Zionists intend to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque in terms of time and space.

Earlier, the "Youth Movement in Al-Quds" issued a statement calling on the Palestinians to hold a "Palestinian Flag Day" march in the city on Sunday.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah movement, also warned the Zionist regime on Friday night that any attack on Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque would have serious consequences.

These battalions threatened the Zionist regime that if the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Jenin camp were targeted in any way, it would inflict painful blows on the Zionists and ignite all fronts against the regime.
