Iran's Raisi calls for deepening ties with Azerbaijan Republic
Extending congratulations on the anniversary of the Republic of Azerbaijan's independence, the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called for further deepening of bilateral relations between the two countries in the new era of Iran-Azerbaijan ties.

President Raisi said: "The common religion and deep ties between the two nations of Iran and Azerbaijan have provided a solid foundation and valuable support for relations between the two countries in the new era."
The high ranking official stated: "Based on these ties, the Islamic Republic of Iran after the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan has always worked within the framework of mutual interests to expand bilateral relations in all fields."
He expressed hope that the capacities of the two sides would be used in line with the mutual aspirations and interests of the two nations.
The President emphasized that Iran's stance on foreign policy and its efforts to promote neighborly relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan.
