Iran, Oman examining ways to develop economic-trade ties

Farzad Piltan, the Director-General of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO)'s Office for Arab and African Countries Affairs, announced the visit of an Iranian economic and trade delegation to Oman.

Piltan said: "On the eve of the visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Oman, a high-level trade-marketing delegation of Iranian economic and trade activists will arrive in Muscat on Monday, May 23rd."

He added that participating in the Iran-Oman trade meeting and reviewing the methods of developing exports to Oman, as well as finding obstacles and problems in the development of trade relations between the two countries were among the most important programs of the delegation.
Meeting with the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment Development of Oman and the President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce, participating in the opening of the International Exhibition of Oman Construction Industry, and meeting with banking and maritime transport officials are other plans of the delegation.
