Senior cleric:

Liberation of Holy Quds depends on true unity of all Muslim communities against global arrogance

The Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said: "Muslim nations have always been aware of the conspiracies of the enemies. As a result, their actions will unite all Muslim communities against global arrogance, and ultimately the continuation of these struggles lead to the liberation of Holy Quds and the Palestinians' lands.
Liberation of Holy Quds depends on true unity of all Muslim communities against global arrogance
Hojjatoleslam Hamid Shahriari in the biggest online ceremony of marking Quds Day, which was broadcast on virtual networks on Thursday night, pointed out that Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution more than 40 years ago announced the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Quds Day, emphasizing that Quds Day is the priority of all Muslims in the world until the liberation of Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque from the yoke of the occupying Zionist regime.
Shahriari, announcing that 80 countries marked this day, said: "Marking Quds Day is a great opportunity to declare unity and solidarity among Muslim nations in condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories and the Palestinian lands."
In another part of his speech, the Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought emphasized that today the Muslim Ummah is more aware of the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam against Islamic countries and Muslim nations:
"Arrogant governments, led by the United States behind their plans and conspiracies, and by adopting double standards, focus only on their own interests."

Explaining these double standards of global arrogance, Shahriari referred to the issue of Palestine and the occupied territories and said: "Double standards are quite obvious in relation to the issue of Palestine. Arrogance has remained silent in the face of what is happening in the Palestinian territories in Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque, while the Zionist regime forces are committing their crimes in the streets."
The senior cleric highlighted that the Zionist regime and the settlers have been destroying the property and lands and property of the Palestinian people in the occupied territories for many years.

"These Jewish mob groups, backed by the Zionist authorities, are committing crimes against the Palestinian people, destroying their places, and we see that the Zionist regime's forces do not allow the Palestinians to enter their holy sites. They impose restrictions on the people of Palestine has increased, and the number of checkpoints is significantly higher in Palestinian areas, which has led to many problems."
Emphasizing that these are a small part of the restrictions imposed on the Palestinian people, he said: "The issue of burning the Holy Quran, insulting the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and insulting the holy places of Muslims is another part of the crimes of this vile regime that we all strongly condemn and call on Western governments to abandon the double standards in insulting the sanctities of Muslims."

Shahriari, meanwhile, referred to the action of some Arab governments in normalizing relations with the Zionist regime and said: "These actions are taking place while the nations of these countries are condemning the actions of their rulers and warn about the consequences of normalizing ties with the Zionist regime."

The Secretary- General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought elsewhere noted: "Muslim nations have always been aware of the conspiracies of the enemies. As a result, the actions of the enemies will unite all Muslim communities against global arrogance."
