Tens of Shia and Sunni clerics signed the statement to censure Israeli atrocities against al Aqsa Mosque, violation of human rights and massacre of Palestinians in the occupied lands, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Part of the statement by Iranian clerics has slammed the “infanticide Israeli regime” for committing crimes against Palestinian nation amid the inaction of the United Nations, US, Europe and all claimants of human rights.

“The most bitter of all is betrayal and alliance of some Arab rulers in normalization of relations with the illegal Israeli regime” read part of the message and added,” The treachery towards the Palestinian nation is a bigger crime than those committed by Israeli regime and the support of Europe and US is the most painful of all.”

Iranian clerics hailed resistance as the sole way to confront Israeli regime and vowed that the resistance groups will defend the Palestinian objectives by all possible means.

“We, Shia and Sunni clerics in Hormozgan province condemn the crimes committed by illegal Israeli regime” concluded the scholars their statement and restated their hatred for the alliance of some Arab rulers with Israeli regime.

They also demanded the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Arab League and also all Arab and Islamic states to fulfill their religious and moral responsibilities towards terrorist measures by Israeli regime and help the Palestinian nation.

The statement by Iranian scholars has been issued in the wake of Israeli atrocities against the al-Aqsa Mosque and their attack against Palestinians in the holy month of Ramadan.
