Since then, the parties have spoken of progress in the negotiations and the reduction of disputes, but the issue of guarantees and the removal of natural and legal persons from the red list and from the set of sanctions, are also among the cases in which the United States, as a violator of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA), has not made the necessary political decision to resolve them.
With nearly a month and a half being passed since the interval in the Vienna talks, the exchange of messages between Iran and the United States is taking place through Enrique Mora, the EU's chief negotiator in the Vienna talks, and the Islamic Republic has repeatedly stressed that Tehran's red lines are neither crossed nor to be given in.

In this regard, "Hossein Amir-Abdollahian" Iranian Foreign Minister in a telephone call with "Josep Borrell" EU foreign policy chief on Friday evening, referring to the continuation of consultations to lift sanctions and stating that there is no doubt in the determination of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to reach a good, strong and lasting agreement, he stated: "The White House must put aside extravagances and doubts and take a step towards realism and solution."

Iran's top Diplomat added: "Now three European countries, Russia and China, are ready to finalize the agreement, and it is the current US administration that must have the courage to correct the wrong policies of the White House in the past."

In another part of the telephone conversation, Amir-Abdollahian referred to the escalation of terrorist acts and the wave of refugees in Afghanistan, and stressed the need for serious cooperation in establishing stability and security in the war-torn country, addressing the problem of Afghan refugees, sending humanitarian aid and fighting narcotics.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also stressed the need to focus on a political solution to the Ukraine crisis, welcomed the establishment of a temporary ceasefire in Yemen, and expressed hope that the region would see a permanent ceasefire, complete lifting of the Yemeni blockade and a Yemeni-Yemeni agreement.

"We believe that Iran wants an agreement and that there are various initiatives and that they are continuing," said EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, referring to the positive will of the Iranian side in the Vienna talks.

The EU foreign policy chief did not call the prolongation of the talks "constructive" and suggested that talks between the EU envoy and Iran's chief negotiator be resumed while being closely monitored."

Referring to the war in Ukraine, Borrell described it as a global crisis that could have negative consequences.

Welcoming the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for stopping the war in Yemen and helping the refugees in Afghanistan, the EU foreign policy chief stressed: "The EU can develop and expand consultations, dialogue and joint cooperation with Iran in various fields."
