Saudi Arabia announces new  visa law for female Hajj pilgrims

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced female pilgrims above 45 years e of do not need to be escorted by close relatives in Hajj 2022.

According to Ministry of Hajj and Umrah women below 45 must be accompanied by Mahram (close male relative) in order to recive visa to attend the annual pilgrimage, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Saudi official paper Akkaz published the new announcement by Ministry of Hajj and Umrah regarding participation of unchaperoned women pilgrims in Hajj 2022.
 
The article added that unchaperoned women above 45 can receive the visa for Hajj  as member of a group of women.
 
Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stressed that the group of women should be formed by alicensed local representative.
 
In another announcement recently made by Saudi Arabia’s Ministy of Hajj and Umrah vaccinated pilgrims who are not infected and had no contact with the infected people are allowed to attend the communal prayers in al-Haram Mosque.
