War not solution to Ukrainian crisis, Iran says

The Spokesman of Iran's Government has said in reaction to the developments in Russia-Ukraine ties that war was not a solution to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

Ali Bahadori Jahromi wrote on his tweeter on Friday: "Neither is the war a solution to Ukraine nor reliance upon the US can bring security."
Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi told in a telephone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that the extension of NATO to the East was a threat to the stability and security of the independent countries.  
Russia says its operation in Ukraine is not the beginning of an invasion but an attempt to prevent a third world war. 
The US and Europe began to exert diplomatic and economic pressures on Russia.
Yet, the US and NATO have refused to deploy forces to help Ukraine. 
Ukraine knew itself as an ally of the US.
