The Iranian ambassador in Doha announced the details of the visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Qatar.

Hamid Reza Dehghani, Iran's ambassador to Doha, wrote on his personal Twitter page that the official visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, to Qatar will take place next week.
 
Dehghani added that in addition to bilateral meetings, the chairman and the accompanying high-level delegation will also attend the summit of gas exporting countries.
 
Qatari officials will host a major gas summit in Doha in a few days. The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent his Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to Tehran on February 26 to present the invitation letter to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to attend the Qatar Gas Summit as a special guest.
 
Iran has the largest gas reserves in the world after Russia, and Qatar ranks third, and Iran and Qatar have the largest common natural gas source in the world.
Members of the Assembly of Gas Exporting Countries account for 44% of world gas production, 2% of world gas reserves, 64% of pipeline transportation and 66% of liquefied natural gas (LNG) trade.
 
Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela are the 21 main members of the Assembly of Exporting Countries, with the Netherlands, Norway, Iraq, Oman, Peru and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UAE as Supervisory members participate in this forum.
