Austrians stage protest against mandatory COVID-19 vaccination
The Austrian government has taken a hard line despite the domestic criticism and protests against the mandatory law, and the Austrian parliament has approved a plan to make the corona vaccine mandatory.

Thousands of Austrians took to the streets in Vienna on Saturday evening holding placards denouncing the mandatory corona vaccination, condemning the Austrian government for violating individual freedoms.
Austria is the first EU member state to take strict measures against the coronavirus pandemic.

People over the age of 18 in Austria must get the Corona vaccine, and anyone who opposes the law and does not get the vaccine will face a fine of 600 to 3,600 euros.

About 70% of the 9 million Austrians were vaccinated against corona to increase their immunity to it. With the arrival of the new Corona strain called "Omicron", the world is once again witnessing the rise of Corona disease.
