Pakistani poet presents top Iranian cleric with book

Prominent Pakistani poet has met with senior Iranian cleric, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in part of the visit made by a delegation of Shia and Sunni scholars to Rawalpindi and presented the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought with his book of poems.

Tanvir Heidar, met with Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in Islamabad on Monday and presented the Shia cleric with his book of poems.
 
Iran's Cultural attaché in Pakistan, Ehsan Khazaee and senior Iranian Sunni cleric, Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami also attended this meeting held in part of the trip by an Iranian delegation to the neighboring country.
 
Director of "Iblagh" literary society, Tanvir Heidar is a popular poet in Rawalpindi.
 
Leading a delegation of religious and cultural figures from Iran, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari is visiting Pakistan to attend an Islamic unity conference and meet with a number of literary figures and religious leaders from different Islamic denominations in Pakistan.
