Taqrib News Agency, Islamic virtual universities sign coop agreement

Taqrib News Agency (TNA) has joint the network of Islamic universities as an agreement on scientific cooperation is signed between the news agency and COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) on Tuesday.

Morteza Bayat, director of Taqrib News Agency and Karim Najafi Barzegar, secretary general of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities signed agreement for cooperation in scientific and cultural fields, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Director of Taqrib News Agency in this meeting referred to the global mission of TNA and expressed hope that active membership in the network of virtual universities in Islamic countries will contribute to expansion of cultural and scientific networks and introduce Islamic unity to members of CINVU.
 
He said the agreement meant to create and boost media cooperation to make use of the relations between Muslim world universities and also the media capabilities of TNA based on the strategy of unity in the Islamic nation.
 
According to Dr. Morteza Bayat the cooperation between TNA and CINVU will build and expand the scientific, research, cultural and managing cooperation in national and international arenas.
 
He said the press release of the annual Islamic Unity Conference and webinars held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought which is frequently held throughout the year is by TNA expressing readiness to introduce a committee for implementation of the agreement.
 
Dr. Barzegar highlighted importance of Islamic unity referring to endeavors of Taqrib News Agency (TNA) expressing hope that the news agency will make a platform to promote the activities by CINVU across the globe and boost Islamic proximity among Islamic countries.
 
Based on the agreement Taqrib News Agency and COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network of Virtual Universities will hold joint virtual journalism courses, citizen journalism for Taqrib News Agency, innovation in joint media cooperation, boosting cooperation with the media committee at CINVU, building the media connection with scientific and academic elites in the world of Islam and also holding press conferences with Muslim world academicians.
 
Hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran, CINVU is a network of the permanent committee of scientific and technological cooperation in member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation also known as COMSTECH.  The network is a rich base for boosting public higher education in cyber space which means to provide equal access to research, science and education for the students, professors, elites and academicians across the world of Islam.
