Supreme Leader meets participants of 35th Islamic Unity Conference
Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, met with participants of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference on Sunday marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) at the end of the Islamic Unity Week.

A number of Iranian authorities, government officials and participants to the 35th Islamic Unity Conference met with the Supreme Leader in Imam Khomeini (RA) Husseiniya on Sunday at the end of the annual convention held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The meeting is underway maintaining the health protocols against COVID-19 as announced by the National Task Force against Coronavirus.
The 35th International Islamic Unity Conference was held on October 19-24 in the capital Tehran thought the meetings were mainly held in virtual meetings of Muslim scholars, intellectuals and thinkers from across the globe. The theme for Islamic Unity Conference 2021 was "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam."
The issue of Palestine and honoring the leading proximity figure, late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri were also discussed in separate webinars in this event.
