No miracle for Islamic unity without taking to account the realities of Islamic communities

The Representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan Province, speaking at the 35^th International Islamic Unity Conference, currently underway in Tehran said without taking realities of Islamic societies into consideration and solely concentrating on religious aspirations, no miracle will take place regarding the Islamic Unity and campaign against malign sects that oppose realization of unity dialog.

According to Taghrib News agency (TNA), the representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan Province while congratulating auspicious occasions of the birth anniversary of the holy Prophet Islam (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) talked about the reasons behind the sectarian conflicts in Islamic Countries and ways to tackle this phenomenon.

He said such conflicts have two reasons: either the conflict has a psychological origin or epistemological background, adding that before presenting a way to put an end to such conflicts we should find out the real cause of divisions.

According to Hujjat-ul-Islam Al-e-Hashem, conflicts that have no epistemological foundation are mainly due to economic or political motivations.

Fomenting division and hostility in Islamic countries provide a flourishing market for those who pursue economic gain by selling various weapon and military hardware.

In some cases frictions in Islamic countries have corrupt political hallmark contemplated by foreign agents and played up by some fanatic local elements.

He went on saying that, Islamic countries have considerable natural resources which are being plundered by exploited by aliens and in return they present them with religious wars and ethnic conflicts.

Whenever the foreign powers face resistance in Muslim countries they create fabricated malign sects and use them as their pawns in Islamic communities.

He said monotheistic dialog and other commonalities can be employed as a common language to counter internal conflicts and proposed interfaith dialog, in a fully scientific and rational atmosphere an appropriate means to reach a common language to fight the common enemy.

Representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan Province addressed the webinar on the third day of the 35^th International Islamic Unity Conference held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the 35^th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference for October 19-24 ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) also known as the Islamic Unity Week.
