Huj. Shahriari counts objectives for future of Muslim world
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought named establishment of a unified Islamic nation and union of Muslim countries as the objectives the major Islamic unity institute pursues.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, attending the meeting on commemoration of Islamic Unity Week held at Islamic Development Coordination Council in the capital Tehran on Sunday hailed the Islamic Unity Week as a time belonging to all Islamic denominations and Muslims across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said, "We have defined establishment of unified Islamic nation and union of Muslim countries as two pinnacles to be conquered in future of Muslim world."
Senior cleric detailed the schedules for the Islamic Unity Week at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and said," We pursue Islamic unity as a strategy and not a temporary target."
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari said," For us Islamic unity is not translated to mingling Islamic denominations but to find common interests and endeavoring to achieve them, settling the issues in the entire Islamic ummah (nation) and also achieving the objectives recommended in holy Qur'an."
He warned of Israeli regime as the common enemy of all Muslims and noted the various plots it has hatched to disperse Muslims across the world of Islam.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari slammed the arrogant powers and Israeli regime for struggling to ignite tribalism and sectarianism and then turning them to violence, terror, desecration and war.
We are all in charge of pursuing Islamic unity and any Shia or Sunni who desecrates other denominations is not a member of Islamic ummah.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought called on the rulers in Islamic countries to foil plots for normalization of ties with Israeli regime calling that a treachery towards the world of Islam.
