Iran Tajikistan sign documents to boost bilateral ties

Iranian President Ebraihm Raeisi met with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon on Saturday to discuss ways, sign documents to boost bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Dushanbe.

Iranian President Raeisi in this meeting stressed that boosting interaction between the Islamic Republic and Tajikistan will lead to improvement of the regional cooperation between the two countries.
 
The two presidents highlighted the common culture, language and religion expressing hope for opening of new chapter in promoting the relations and cooperation between the two countries.
 
President Raeisi also underlined the proper capacities to deepen Iran-Tajikistan bilateral relations and cooperation.
 
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon expressed appreciation for Iranian president participation in the 21st Shanghai Summit held in the capital Dushanbe as the first foreign trip taken by President Raeisi after taking office.
