Supreme Leader, President Raeisi condole with demise of prominent Lebanese cleric

Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution issued a message on Monday to express condolences over demise of prominent Lebanese cleric Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan.

Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, addressed the supreme Islamic Council of Lebanon, family and companions of late Sheikh Adbdul Amir Qabalan hailing the late scholar for spending his life for the high values of the country, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“He was a precious and loyal friend for the resistance movement and spent long years serving the high objectives of Lebanon” wrote the Supreme Leader in his message expressing regret over demise of the top Lebanese scholar.
 
Iranian President Ebrahmi Raeisi has also issued a separate message on Monday  to extend condolences over passing of late Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan.

 
He lauded the late Lebanese scholar for his valuable services for Islam, Shia community, Islamic unity and solidarity of Lebanese nation.
 
Iranian President said contribution for objective of Palestine and liberation of holy Quds are part of the bright record left by late Shiekh Abdul Amir Qabalan.
 
Head of the Supreme Shia Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, passed away on Saturday at the age of 85.
