Huj. Shahriari marks passing of top Indian scholar

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to express condolences over passing of top Indian scholar, Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman Mansoorpouri.

Senior Iranian cleric issued a message on Tuesday to express regret over passing of senior Indian cleric and National President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind and professor of Deoband Dar-ul-Ulum, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed the activities of late Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman Mansoorpouri for transcending the scientific level of Deoband Dar-ul-Ulum and other religious institutes.
 
Iran's Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari expressed sympathy with the Muslim scholars and scientific community in Indian peninsula particularly Deoband Dar-ul-Ulum.
 
Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman Mansoorpouri (1944-2021) served as the National President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind and was a professor of Hadith at Dar-ul-Ulum Deoband.
He passed away on May 21, 2021 due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
