Huj. Shahriari urges clerics to battle extremism

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a meeting with Mamusta Molla Seyyed Mohammad Mohammadi, Friday prayer leader of Ravansar on the first day of his trip to Kermanshah province, warned of desecration of Islamic sanctities as a mission for enemies led by Israel, UK and the US, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He referred to efforts to wage conflict between Islamic denominations and ethnicities as the main tool for enemies.

The cleric said,” It is no matter if we disagree on some topics, they should not turn into a reason for conflict among us Muslims.”

Friday prayer leader of Ravansar in this meeting slammed the western countries and arrogant powers who find their survival in fighting Muslims and target Islamic unity in any possible way.

Mamusta Molla Mohammad Mohammadi urged Muslims and all Islamic countries to battle the heinous plots by enemies.

He said,” A way for materialization of Islamic unity is to focus on moderate clerics, intellectuals and religious leaders in order to promote true Islam and counter Islamophobia.

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with the Friday prayer leader of Ravansar on the first day of his three-day visit to Kermanshah Province.
