Cleric highlights role of media in promoting Islamic unity

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has highlighted the role of media in promoting Islamic unity and hailed the manager of Vahdat Radio (Unity Radio) over impressive function during the Islamic Unity Conference 2020.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, senior Iranian cleric has awarded Mahdi Masoudi manager of Vahdat Radio on the sideline the weekly meeting of deputies at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on Monday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric also praised the former and current managers of Iran's state radio for launching and supporting Vahdat Radio during Rabi' al-Awwal, concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Islamic Unity Week broadcasting the programs related to the occasion.
 
The cleric said," Such media activities will boost the culture of solidarity among the elites and different walks of life and also help us promote the Qur'anic notion of unity across the world of Islam."
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari lauded the efficiency of Vahdat Radio in promoting the message of Islamic unity.
 
34th Islamic Unity Conference was held on October 29-November 3, 2020 as Muslim elites from across the globe discussed the theme of "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters."
