Senior official in Donald Trump administration has announced on Tuesday that White House senior advisor and President Trump's son in law will lead a delegation joining Israeli team in Tel Aviv before a flight to Rabat to discuss the circumstances of normalization deal brokered by the White House senior advisor before.
Kushner is scheduled to arrive in Tel Aviv on Monday to hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before the meeting of the two sides with Moroccan officials on Tuesday.
The Israel-Morocco deal is the fourth the United States helped broker, following similar agreements between Israeli regime and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Sudan.
As part of the agreement, Trump agreed to recognize Morocco's sovereignty over the Western Sahara, where a decades-old territorial dispute has pitted Morocco against the Algeria-backed Polisario Front.
Kushner and his team are still struggling to win approval of more Arab and Muslim states in order to seal at least one more deal before Trump leaves the White House on Jan. 20.
