139 Yemeni civilians killed in Saudi-led attacks since October: UN

7 Dec 2020 - 11:46

The UN has announced on Saturday that at least 139 Yemeni civilians have been killed or wounded in Saudi-led war since October.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said 74 civilians were killed or wounded in October and 49 in November in Al Hudaydah province.

This is while six workers were killed and 10 injured in an attack against a trade complex in al Hudaydah on December 3.

The report has revealed no other information on the number killed and injured.
The office has called for an end to atrocities against civilians amid worsening conflict in Al Hudaydah.

Yemen has been beset by violence by Saudi-led coalition atrocities against the impoverished Arab country since 2014.

More than 100,000 Yemenis, including civilians, have been killed in the conflict, which has led to the world's worst humanitarian crisis as millions of people are on the verge of starvation.
