"Division, enemy's tool to loot Muslim resources"

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of thought, in his speech at Afghanistan regional webinar, warned of division as enemy's means to loot the natural resources in the world of Islam.

Top Iranian cleric in his speech made on the second day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference said," To avoid sectarianism and atrocities in the world of Islam means that we note enemy's efforts to spark division, dispersion and war in the world of Islam in a bid to loot their natural resources, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He counted five principle axes for achieving unified Islamic nation as avoiding sectarianism, cooperation of Muslims to confront enemies, cooperation for security, knowledge and political science, self-sufficiency of Islamic nation, moral improvement and also establishment of new Islamic civilization.
 
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to importance of avoiding warfare and reconciliation between the countries and said," Outbreak of war will lead to loss of wealth and infiltration of the enemies in a country."
 
He urged scholars in Muslim states to spare no effort in preventing outbreak of war.
 
"The second axis which should be noted by Muslim scholars is that enemies pursue assassination of luminaries as a means to divide people" said the scholar warning of plots to recruit assassins from within the countries.
 
He highlighted avoiding Takfir (excommunication) as the third axis which should be maintained by all Muslims as some denominations reject others out of extremist views.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari hailed top Iraqi jurisprudent Ayatollah Seyyed Ali al Sistani and late Imam Khomeini (RA) for issuing fatwa (religious statement) to call believers from all Islamic denominations as Muslims.
 
He warned of some enemies of Islam who promote sectarianism, tribalism and racism to confront people with each other in contrast to the Qur'anic guideline banning clashes with each other.
 
Senior cleric warned of desecration as a means of enemies as the fifth important principle which should be noted in the path towards achieving Islamic unity.
 
He highlighted fraternity as a recommendation of Islam and urged all Muslim clerics to provide the grounds for reconciliation among Muslim communities.
 
Top scholar made the comments on the second day of Afghanistan regional webinar at 34th Islamic Unity Conference  held on October 29th- November 3rd.
