Professor hails cooperation, compassion of Iranians during coronavirus outbreak

Zahra Hajjipour, professor of Iran's female seminary in Southern Khorassan province referred to the issues created by the new coronavirus outbreak and hailed the cooperation of Iranians during the pandemic infection attending the webinar of ladies at the 34th Islamic Unity Conference.

Iranian professors and academics attending the online meeting of female experts discussing "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters" referred to the issues created following outbreak of the modern pandemic praising the Islamic Republic as a Muslim state which has turned the challenges of the pandemic into opportunities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Ay Jamal Ghourchai, manager of females' seminary in Azadshahr noted the test of crisis management the world has faced following the outbreak of COVID-19 and called for mobilization to help the underprivileged countries.
 
Zahra Borhanzehi, deputy of the ministry of education in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan stressed importance of management amid the coronavirus crisis and in post-COVID world.
 
"We should show flexibility in regards to the changes brought by the coronavirus" she said and called for development of religious and scientific discussions among the public.

Female thinkers and professors attended the webinar on the second day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters" which is underway virtually due to the new coronavirus outbreak.
 
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the online event on October 29th- November 3rd as more than 350 speeches will be made by Muslim scholars and thinkers from across the globe.
