“Ayatollah Taskhiri tirelessly endeavored for Islamic unity”, Bosnia grand mufti

Leader of Islamic society in Bosnia hailed Iran’s late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri in a condolence message released over passing of senior cleric and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

Hussein Kavazovic, grand mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has issued a condolence message extending sympathy with the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei following passing of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He lauded the late cleric for tirelessly serving objectives of Islamic unity and bringing different denominations closer.
 
Bosnian grand mufti also expressed sympathy with Iranian nation and bereaved family of late Ayatollah Taskhiri.
 
Ayatollah Taskhiri was member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
 
His endeavors for promotion of Islamic teachings and solidarity among Muslims are well known across the globe.
 
The cleric passed away due to heart disease in a hospital in Tehran on Tuesday and his body was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) in Qom.
