Iran’s embassy in Kabul has issued a message condemning the Friday bombing of mosque in the Afghan capital which has left four people dead and nearly a dozen wounded.

Iranian envoy to Afghanistan has issued a message to condemn the terrorist attack against congregational prayer in Sher Shah Suri Mosque in the capital Kabul calling that an act of crime in line with promoting extremism projects, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Part of the message by Iranian embassy in Kabul reads,” Undoubtedly, assassination and elimination of moderate clerics in line with spread of violence and extremism is a project with certain social and cultural repercussions for future of Afghanistan and the entire region.”
 
The statement urged the people in Afghanistan and the Middle East region to stand vigilant against the future of the issue.
 
Iran’s embassy also extended condolences with the bereaved families of those killed in the attack.
 
Friday bombing of Sher Shah Suri Mosque in western Kabul has led to killing of four people including the prayer leader Molavi Azizullah Mofleh Mulla leaving another 10 people injured.
 
No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the Friday bombing of the mosque as Daesh terrorist group has admitted responsibility for the last week attack on Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque also in the Afghan capital of Kabul.
