33rd Islamic Unity Conference issues final statement
33rd Islamic Unity Conference under the title of "Ummah Unity in Defense of al-Aqsa Mosque" wrapped up with the final statement stressing support for the holy Mosque.
Islamic Unity Conference was held amid a tough confrontation between the resistance, not submitting to dishonor and the arrogant front which is maintaining all means to belittle and divide the Islamic nation.

Based on that the participants of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference urge for liberal figures across the globe to voice their solidarity with the resistance and maintaining the honor of Muslims against the Zionist regime and the US.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is especially sacred in view of all Muslims because it used to be the first Qibla (praying direction) of Muslims hence Zionists, in order to undermine the honor and resistance of Muslims, save no disrespect in regards to the holy mosque.

Here we demand for probe into all crimes committed against al-Aqsa Mosque and call for serious measures to be taken against them.

It is 50 years since the arson attack against al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionists, a move which sparked Muslim wrath and establishment of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The organization is however incapable of defending rights of Muslims and settling the issues in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Bahrain, Myanmar and other Islamic countries.

Here we demand cooperation and increasing efforts and also conventions of Muslims to propose solutions for their issues.

Participants reiterate that the Zionist regime is not only a threat for Palestine but also for all Islamic countries and a manifestation of that is efforts to establish a regional coalition as a joint effort of the Zionist regime and the United States. We stress that freedom of Palestine should be liberation of all occupied lands and the Golan Heights in Syria and Sheba farms.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is the axis of unity across the world of Islam as Muslim nations unanimously agree on that though struggles by some backward countries and their puppets for normalization of ties with the Zionist regime and also crackdown of the defendants of the holy mosque translates to an unforgettable betrayal to the Muslim nation.

Participants to this event honor the resistance of Palestinian nation against state terrorism of the Israeli regime and voice their solidarity with march of return and slam violence and crackdown of the Palestinian protesters.

Constant aggression against al-Aqsa Mosque within the framework of the so-called deal of century and Judaization of al-Quds counts to dangerous treachery against Islamic sanctities against which Islamic countries should take a serious stance.

Participants to the conference denounce the recent aggressions against Palestinian nation, assassination of prominent leader Biha abul Ata and also the failed assassination of Akram al-Ojouri and stress the right of Palestinians to respond the aggressions.

Exceeding 400 participants to the conference convened to defend al-Aqsa, despite the issues in their home countries and to announce that the issue of Palestine is still the top priority in the world of Islam and that all efforts to marginalize that or reconciliation is doomed to fail.

Participants in this conference express their gratitude for the firm stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran in defense of Palestine and Islamic Republic of Iran and extend their all-out-support for the resistance front and also denounce the US illegal measures of economic sanctions against Iran, its support of  the terrorist groups and voice their support for efforts of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

33rd Islamic Unity Conference ended its three-day-work on November 16, 2019 in the Iranian capital of Tehran. Over 350 guests from foreign countries and 250 from Iran attended the annual event held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
