“I am so happy to visit our brothers in Iran and hope that this trip be memorable for them,” said Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, according to Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Grand Ayatollah pointed to the victory of Islamic revolution in 1979 and underlined, “Iranian people scarified everything for this revolution.”
“The Iranian people who (demonstrated to topple the ex-King of Iran) called for implementation of the Islamic and Quranic law in the community,” Ayatollah Taskhiri said as one of the fundamental reasons behind the 1979 revolution.
“To the arrogant world, the then ruling system in Iran was unchanging and the possibility for any change was unlike” the ayatollah added.
” Those countries that support arrogance never imagined that revolution would win,” he said.
“Even the [then] U.S President, Richard Nixon announced that Iran was completely safe and no change would happen in the country,” head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said as added,” They assumed that Iran submitted to their orders.”
Ayatollah Taskhiri underscored, “They [the US administration]turned Iran to the center of fulfilling their plots and malignant aims.”
“West wanted Iran to be a staunch ally of Israel ,” said the grand Ayatollah and underlined,” they made an army called “ Eternal Army“ in Iran and claimed that the army would keep the country safe from any alternation.”
“But the wave of Islamic Revolution and Muslims movement led by the late leader of Islamic Revolution altered all the balances,” the Grand Ayatollah mentioned.
“Despite of all the claims, the Islamic revolution won and made a lot of changes and innovations in the country,” Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri expressed.
To illustrate the point, the Grand Ayatollah pointed to the changes in the academic system and underlined that the Islamic revolution considered all the Islamic rules in media and banned all the movies with immoral contents.
“The country for the first time assigned Islamic banking system,” said Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri when he pointed to the economy changes in Iran after the revolution and added, “Iran endeavored to progress the Quranic and Islamic programs and also made a big changes in different realms .”
“The arrogant world tried to fulfill some malignant aims in the country and stepped up efforts to make division among Muslim facts,” the cleric said.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri underscored,” The Islamic movement recognized the latent story behind their aims.
“The speeches and programs both in the time of Imam Khomeini ( RA) and the supreme leader of Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei illustrate the fact that Islamic government try to move in the way of making unity among Muslims.”
“We hope that Islamic world reach to this point that the only way for standing against the arrogant powers and fulfilling its aim is keeping unity among Muslims, “the Grand Ayatollah added.
